On June 7, 2026, the biggest running event in Telangana's history is set to take place at the iconic Tank Bund, Hyderabad. Presented by title sponsor Avantika, the Telangana Run 2026 is shaping up to be unlike anything the state has seen before. For the first time ever in Telangana's running history, Society for Telangana Runners launched the Telangana Run Tour — taking running events to towns and districts across the state. Not just Hyderabad. Not just the big cities. Every corner of Telangana.
It kicked off in Janagaon on April 5, followed by Gajwel on April 12. And the tour is just getting started — with events lined up in Godavarikhani, Kamareddy, Nalgonda, Jadcherla, Siddipet, Karimnagar, and Nizamabad still to come.
Town after town, the response has been the same — excitement, energy, and runners who have never had an event in their own backyard finally getting one. Local communities are turning up, participating, and falling in love with running.
